What we collect
When you request an offer we collect the property address, the details you give us about the house, and your name, phone number and email address. We also collect standard server logs. We do not ask for your Social Security number, your bank details, or your date of birth, and you should be suspicious of any house buyer who does before you are under contract.
Why we collect it
To assess your property, prepare an offer, and contact you about it. That is the whole purpose. We do not build advertising profiles from it.
Who we share it with
If we move toward closing, we share what is necessary with the title company handling the transaction. If we assign the contract to a buyer in our network, they receive the property information they need to close. We do not sell your personal information to lead brokers or list buyers.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Calls and texts
Ticking the consent box on the offer form is optional and is never required to receive an offer. If you tick it, we may text and call you about your property and your offer, including by automated means — typically 2–6 messages per enquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help; you can also just tell us on a call. If you leave the box unticked we will not text you, and it will not hold up your offer — we will use the phone or email instead. Full messaging terms are on our terms page.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to respond to your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations for any transaction that happens. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless a completed transaction requires us to retain it.
Your choices
Email aj@janamproperties.com to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
